Foo Fighters Debuts At N.1 in USA with 130k Sales, BTS at N.7

Foo Fighters have topped this week’s Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart, as their ninth studio album, Concrete and Gold (Roswell/RCA), moves 130k units. This marks the fourth rock album to hit #1 this year, so throw some ****in’ goat, dammit!

The second highest-charting new release belongs to South Korean boy band BTS, whose slickly produced fifth album, Love Yourself: Her (Bighit Entertainment via The Orchard), can be found at #7 with nearly 31k.

There, it looks like this: Foos #1, Prophets #2, Nothing More #3, BTS #5, Superfruit #7. As for noteworthy moves made on the SPS chart, last week’s #1, Thomas Rhett’s Life Changes (Valory/BMLG), enjoys a solid second week, earning another 41k. Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. (TDE/Interscope) returns to the Top 5 at #4, while the buzzing XXXTENTACION’s 17 (Bad Vibes Forever/EMPIRE) holds at #5. XXXTENTACION has three tunes on our Song Revenue Chart: “Jocelyn Flores” #7, “**** Love” #13 and “Everybody Dies in Their Nightmares” #34.
